About US

Watching someone that you love to age is heart-breaking. As most of you, I have seen my loved ones to grow older and gradually lose independence. I first encountered this with my grandmother back home, in Russia. A strong woman, she was my role model and inspiration my whole life. Seeing her struggling with simple tasks and behavior change was stressful and overwhelming for my family. I was by myself to make difficult choices and this was when I realized I needed someone, a friend, a professional, who I could rely on but I just didn’t have the right person by my side.

In 2001 I moved to Canada. The idea of setting up the professional services that could help the family share the task of caring for their loved ones was still loud in my head. It was a long way to go till the project could go live, however. 9 years later, I started ALTCC in Calgary. Since 2010, the ALTCC team has been providing home care services to families of all cultural backgrounds. Homesickness, coping with a new environment, integrating with the community are just some of the hurdles our seniors face if they move to Canada at the late stages of their life.  With more than 120 families to assist, ALTCC is now one of the most reliable independent home care providers in Calgary and area, which embraces the ideas of inclusion and cultural diversity.

If you are searching for a home care that can make a difference, you have come to the right place. We specialize in providing home care services exclusively for seniors, and we’ve been doing it successfully for over 6 years.  Today, we remain focused on providing professional care personalized to your individual needs, in the comfort your own home, so you or your loved one could focus on what really matters - your family, friends, and community.

It is my team’s personal stories, the stories of our families that help ALTCC to run the business. We all have been there and can relate to your fears and emotions. You are not alone. At ALTCC, our goal is to empower your family to live as independently as possible, in the place you love and call home.
